Schubert: Winterreise/Die Schone Mullerin (Fischer-Dieskau) (1991)

The celebrated German baritone Dietrich Fisher-Dieskau performs two Schubert song cycles. 'Wintereisse' stems from a performance for Radio Free Berlin in 1979, accompanied by Austrian pianist Alfred Brendel, while his performance of 'Die Schone Mullerin' was the first time he had performed the piece at Austria's Feldkirsh Schubertiade in 1991, accompanied by pianist Andras Schiff.
