His shawl tells of Luke (Filippo Scicchitano), a fifteen-year-old Roman, restless, grown up without a father and unconsciously looking for a guide, and a brown, a childless professor who left teaching to take refuge in the apathy of private lessons. Bruno (Fabrizio Bentivoglio) has never been a guide for himself, but his everyday phenomena is suddenly accelerated when the man finds that he is son and his son. The rebellious pupil and the melancholic professor are forced to live together to open up to each other the mysterious existence of the other.
