Scots at War (2010)

Documentary that sets out to explore both the current and historical role of the Scottish Army. The programme is presented by former soldier Ken Hames,who travels to Afghanistan with serving members of the Royal Regiment of Scotland to experience modern day combat on the frontline. Through the use of archive footage,paintings,photographs and other military artefacts,Hames also looks back at 400 years of the Scottish Army's contribution to a number of defining conflicts worldwide.
