Synopsis:
The combination, during those fabulous 50's and 60's years of Scotty Moore's seminal style and D.J Fontana's superb percussion gave Elvis the perfect backdrop to his performances. the importance of these two musicians cannot be underestimated. Without their contribution the shape of popular music would have been very different. Todd Slaughter persuaded Scotty and D.J to attend the famous fan club festival at Hemsby and decided that this historical event should be committed to film. After travelling via Scotland, where they had unveiled a memorial to the one and only visit by Elvis to the UK at Prestwick airport, Scotty was especially tired. However, the music they played and the words they spoke captured on this video made their efforts worthwhile. Two legends succeed in reliving the magic of the past, making the music as vibrant today as it was yesterday, not just for the Elvis fan but for any budding rock historian.
