War Film from the Russian view Point - Secret Weapon review by CP Customer

Spoiler Alert
23/06/2020

Watchable, but the storyline whilst plausible for me had just too many strands to make the film stand out.  The Russian cast acted well and got the suffering that the Russian people working the land were experiencing at the hands of the Nazi's over!

Russian 'Dirty Dozen' B movie - Secret Weapon review by RW

Spoiler Alert
12/08/2020

Follows tha standard plot line and is fairly entertaining in its way.

Russians are goodies and Germans are baddies .

Patriots are good or bad.

The B movie emerges in all its glory when the Russian 'secret weapon' is revealed. By that time, the producers had spent their budget on costumes and makeup so they nipped down to the builders merchants and lashed out on a few steel purlins. Surely they could have borrowed a 'Stalin's Organ' from a museum!
