See My Lawyer (1945)

Comedy duo Olsen and Johnson take part in a scheme to get out of their night club contract that involves humiliating and physically assaulting the club's guests in order to provoke law suits against the club owner. Many musical numbers pad out the 68 minute run time (including Nat King Cole performing in a chef's outfit as part of the "King Cole Trio"), but unlike Olsen and Johnson's similarly padded Ghost Catchers, the numbers are mostly entertaining. Moment out of time: Olsen and Johnson get out of a large car, get into a smaller car, then drive that car into a building. Inside the building they stop at a red light, but unwilling to wait, they shoot the light with a pistol.
