Synopsis:: The miniseries shows the War of the Farrapos, or Revolution Farroupilha between the years of 1835 to 1845 and its consequences on the destiny of men and women. The movement's leader, General Bento Gonçalves da Silva (Werner Schünemann), isolated the women from his family in a resort far from the areas in conflict with the purpose of protecting them.
