The year 1007 AD, the place Vinland; a North American wilderness. The beach is littered with dead Vikings, members of an expeditionary force killed during a skirmish with the 'Skraeling' (Natives). Deeper inland are two abandoned pathfinders, Orn (Tony Stone) and Volnard (Fiore Tedesco), left behind in the panic of their fleeing companions. As they struggle to survive in the vast, dark forests of the New World, Om and Volnard's paths diverge as one pursues a spiritual quest and the other reverts to his primal instincts.
