- A young prince finds himself caught in a power struggle between his mother and the imperial court's chief eunuch. The latter sees his opportunity when the prince falls in love with a servant girl, and has her sold into prostitution. The prince then visits every brothel in the land in an attempt to trace his true love, sullying his own reputation in the process.
