In the relatively conservative era of the 1950s, sexuality and puberty were not things that teenagers could openly discuss with adults. In an attempt to provide young people with essential information about their changing bodies, various companies created endless promotional and educational films intended for adolescent audiences. While the resulting films often offered more comic relief than actual information, they are nonetheless interesting documents of the way in which society viewed sex education in the 1950s.
