Rent Shelley (1979 - 1992)

Shelley is a British sitcom about a perpetual slacker and all around lay about James Shelley (Hywel Bennett). The series follows Shelley through his day to day life as he avoids anything to do with work and or responsibility as he avoids paying taxes or getting a job. The series looks at how his ‘profession’ affects his life with his girlfriend Fran (Belinda Sinclair) and his friends who don’t quite understand his life choice or his lack of personal direction.
