In Shivgad, a small village near Goa, Inspector Bajirao Singltam (Ajay Devgn) fights against injustice, prejudice and corruption using his own brand of ethics and justice. When Kavya (Kajal Aggarwal) comes from Goa to visit her grandparents she is charmed by Bajiro's bold and courageous demeanor. Destiny sets up the honest and diligent police inspector against the tremendously powerful criminal cum politician Jaykant Shikre (Prakash Raj). Jaykan's manipulation ensure that Singham is promoted and transferred to Goa. Little does Singham knows that while this move will bring him closer to Kavya, it will also deliver him into the clutches of Jaykant Because Goa is the place where Jaykant rules supreme. And Jaykant has vowed to make Singham's life a living nightmare.
