Brought touchingly to life thanks to the gentle direction of Norman Taurog, this 1931 gem stars Jackie Cooper as the titular Skippy. Turning a deaf ear to his martinet father, Skippy heads to the other side of the tracks, where he becomes fast friends with Sooky Wayne. The boys run into a heap o' trouble, however, when they cross paths with a vindictive dogcatcher.
