- Synopsis:
Whilst trying to find her way in a new school, naive college freshman Ashley strikes up a friendship with a group of teenagers who introduce her to the urban legend of Smiley; a demented serial killer who has nothing but a 'smiley' carved into his face. As the legend goes, anyone that types "I did it for the lulz" three times in to an online chat-room soon meets a disturbing and bloody demise when they are brutally killed by Smiley himself. When the group decide to test the theory on a random stranger, to their dismay, Smiley shows up to slice and dice the stranger on the other end of the chat. The mayhem quickly escalates when members of their inner circle begin to die, and it appears that Smiley is turning the tables on his summoners. - Actors:
