- Synopsis:
- Smilla Jasperson (Julia Ormond) sets out to investigate the mysterious death of her neighbour's son, Isaiah. Isaiah allegedly fell to his death after playing on the roof, but Smilla knows that he was in fact terrified of heights. As her investigations take her from Copenhagen to Greenland, she becomes convinced that the death was not an accident and that a local mining company was in some way involved.
