- Synopsis:
All thirteen episodes from the third series of the British television drama, about life for the soldiers, and their wives, in the King's Own Royal Fusiliers regiment. In this series, the lads are on exercise in New Zealand when a friendly rivalry threatens to get out of hand, the regiment has to deal with the threat of amalgamation, and a new posting in Germany brings new challenges.
1. Shifting Sands
"A" Company are on exercise in New Zealand and what starts as friendly rivalry with the Kiwis threatens to get out of hand.
2. Live FireExcitement mounts for the men of "A" Company and especially for Fusilier Vinny Bowles as the day of the exercise with live ammunition draws near.
3. Base Details
The officers are faced with the difficult task of rebuilding the morale of "A" Company as the regiment prepares for the amalgamation and transfer to Germany.
4. Fall Out
Having taken up their new posting in Germany there is inevitable rivalry between the wives and conflict between the men of the amalgamated regiments.
5. Disintegration
The wives of the King's Own Fusiliers need a nursery and it is Marsha Stubbs who takes control of the situation.
6. Hide and Seek
Bernie Roberts is faced with a crisis and her husband must be brought back from exercise.
7. Trouble and Strife
An accusation could tear the Stubbs family apart. For Paddy Garvey life looks rosier. Can Christina help him along the way?

Lt. Kate Butler aims to show she's got what il takes to make the grade.
9. Camouflage
Lt. Colonel Nick Hammond is devoted to the army but when he meets the beautiful daughter of a local dignitary he finds his loyalties challenged.

Bernie is involved in a road accident and the evidence suggests she may well be the guilty party.
11. Dutch Courage
A visit to the high spots of Amsterdam is an opportunity most young men wouldn't want to miss. But while the boys are away Joy and Sandra are left to resolve a difficult situation.
12. Stand by Me
Major Radley gives Paddy Garvey a chance to prove himself on a key exercise.
