A romantic comedy set in the colorful heartland of Punjab, 'Son of Sardar' is a story of Jassi (Ajay Devgn) and Meet (Sonakshi Sinha). Jassi, a peace loving, happy-go-lucky Sardar returns to Punjab to sell off his ancestral property and while doing so, falls in love with Meet. Twist of fate and series of incidents take him to her house where he faces the most unexpected dilemma. He comes within an arm's length of his worst enemy ever - Meet's brother - the heavy weight Billu Paji (Sanjay Dutt). There is history between the two families that dates back to 25 years and they can't stand the sight of each other. Without realizing the situation, Jassi becomes the guest of the family that strictly adheres to the ideology 'Atithi Devo Bhavah!' (Guest is God). Finding himself in a catch 22 situation, our dear Jassi is guaranteed safety inside the house but Billu Paji with his henchmen is waiting outside. A cat and mouse game begins. Jassi tries by all means to stay put and Billu Paji wants to fish him out. Confusion, drama, comedy and craziness reach a crescendo with never seen before action sequences. - Actors:
