The 'Special Section' was created in August 1941 by the Vichy government to control Nazi wrath until one of its officers is killed by the Resistance. The condemned are four communists and two Jews. A magistrate attempts to use his contacts to obtain a pardon for them, while one of the accused publicly denounces the court by submission to the occupation forces.
