J.B Ghuman Jr. writes and directs this feelgood musical comedy about a 14-year-old oddball trying to steer her way through the pitfalls of Junior High. With her frizzy hair and odd clothes 'Spork' is not the most popular girl at her school. Endlessly picked on by a group of her peers, Spork's chance for retribution arrives when her next-door neighbour and best friend, Tootsie-Roll (Sydney Park) is forced to pull out of the school dance-off in which she was going to compete. Rising to the challenge, Spork, with the help of some killer moves and coaching from her neighbour, moves out of the shadows and onto the dancefloor to take on her arch-enemies.
