The movie has a love story which revolves around a wedding saree, which is told in a humourous way. Kannan (Dileep), the son of the weaver Ayyapan Ashan (Nedumudi Venu), in spite of the struggle the family is facing, is sent to study fashion designing. But Kannan opt for some easy ways of making Money and indulge himself into other activities. This finally leads him to many problems as all his ideas and plans become a failure. Ayyapan and Kannan’s ideas always proved mismatch, complicating the situation. Thus, a kind of uneasiness always prevails in the family. In his ways of easy money making, he happens to meet Yeshu (Lal).
Yeshu landed in Kannan’s village to murder Avarachen, the landlord. Yeshu and Kannan become very good friends.
