- Synopsis:
- St. Elsewhere charts the constant merry-go-round of the daily tales of personal triumphs and failures of a team of medical staff which form the core of hospital life. Led by the sensitive but tough administrator, Dr. Donald Westphall (Ed Flanders) and Dr. Daniel Auschlander (Norman Lloyd), the traumas of the hospital staff happen both in and out of the emergency room as work issues and personal problems start to overlap.

Hospital drama second to none. - St. Elsewhere: Series 1 review by CP Customer
Well acted hospital drama of the 80's which looks at the lives of doctors and nurses trying to help the patients attending St Eligius Hospital. With some storylines running over several weeks.
I would describe this as an early version of ER, with many talented actors such as Denzel Washington and David Morse. This will please any hospital drama fan. Definately recommended.

I remember this Series from many years ago. I watched it in the UK,while my father watched the series on German Television at the same
time.In my opinion ,this is the best Hospital Series ever!! Real Emotions,Good believable stories.
