- Iconic comedy series 'Still Game' returns with another hilarious six-part series following the capers of lifelong friends Jack Jarvis and Victor McDade as they cope with everything modern life throws at them. Created, written by and starring Ford Kiernan and Greg Hemphill, 'Still Game' visits the fictional Glasgow suburb of Craiglang where Jack, Victor and the rest of the gang show us exactly how to grow old disgracefully.

Sadly feels like it's running it's course - Still Game: Series 8 review by PN
After watching series 7, I was quite optimistic that the writers had fresh ideas and that Still Game was back on track. This series was a little bit disappointing for me. Felt like they were clutching at straws with some of the storylines. One of the episodes called South Africa borrowed a set of jokes from their on stage show prior to the characters getting their own show which is fine for new viewers but for those who have seen it before it kind of confirmed lack of new ideas. Still funny but was hoping for a lot more from this series.

Simply fantastic. - Still Game: Series 8 review by CP Customer
Still Game is the gift that keeps on giving. The quality of the script, delivery and characterisation is in my opinion outstanding. I have seen the first 7 series at least twice and it never fails to make me laugh.
The fact that original cast are still contributing to the series says a lot to me.
I hope that this isn't the final series, a Christmas special maybe? Lets hope.
