- Synopsis:
- Ben Chamberlain (Henry Fonda), a hard-bitten ex-con, is no stranger to trouble. But an unexpected dose comes his way when he stumbles into a Western town that is run by the ruthless Vince McKay (Michael Parks) and finds himself embroiled in a desperate adventure that forces him to fight for his life. Wrongly accused of murder, Chamberlain soon learns of the power-crazed sheriffs predilection for sadistic games. Given a horse and some supplies, he is given a one hour head start into the desert, before the sheriff sends his murderous posse after him in a deadly game of cat-and-mouse.
