In this feature, you'll learn how to defend yourself with A Cane, An Umbrella, A Magazine, A Broom, A Cap... anything that can be used to protect yourself from any aggression. Robert Paturel suggests you a pragmatic and truly useful method, using techniques from different styles which proved themselves to be efficient in a real-life situation. These techniques were filmed from different angles and shown both in normal speed and slow motion for a complete understanding. After 20 years spent on the rings and besides working on self defense Robert Paturel spent 20 years in the intervention groups of the National Police (RAID and GIPN). He was both a participant and a teacher. Operational instructor and negotiator, he was sent all over the world to coach intervention groups using French methods (Philippines, Salvador, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Hungary, Serbia, Lebanon...). He met some significant personalities (Dan Inosanta, Charles Joussot, Lee Kwan Young...), and nowadays he still works in training courses like stress and conflicts management, negotiation, close up protection, shooting, tonfa, telescopic stick, GTPI (Technical and Professional Gestures for Interventions), boxing, self defense, security tactical progression, sensitization to knife fight.
