Christine Bleakley, Jodie Kidd, Cherie Lunghi, Heather Small, Lisa Snowdon, Rachel Stevens, Gillian Taylforth and Jessie Wallace represented the women, while Andrew Castle, Tom Chambers, Phil Daniels, Mark Foster, Austin Healey, Gary Rhodes, John Sergeant and Don Warrington were the male celebrity dancers. Judges Len Goodman, Craig Revel Horwood, Arlene Phillips and Brimo Tonioli returned to cast a professional eye over the competitors' performances. The sensational sixth series of televisions celebrity dancing extravaganza had everything: the usual glitz and glamour, but also show-stopping moves, heartbreak, laughs and controversy. Sixteen celebrity contestants, paired with internationally renowned professional dancers took on everything from the Tango to the Paso Doble as they fought to keep their place in the competition. As the dancers left the series or progressed to fine tune their steps, the tension - and the standard of their performances - reached astonishing levels. Finally, after 14 weeks of dance-offs, in an amazing three way final, Tom Chambers and his partner Camilla Dallerup danced their way to become the sixth Strictly Come Dancing champions.
