Rent Strike Witches (2008 - 2010)

Strike Witches is a military and science-fiction themed Japanese animated television series that has had many incarnations. The series takes place during the mid-twentieth century, on an alternate Earth. The events of WW2 are altered, with magic and technology used to fight aliens; an enemy that causes all the nations to unite. The Strike Witches are a group of young magical women, who are recruited by the military to help in the fight. Episodes combine science-fiction with recorded events.
