Strings and Frets (2000)

This music release features a compilation of 15 performances by the world's most acclaimed fingerstyle guitarists, including Martin Simpson, Stefan Grossman, John Renbourn and Jorma Kaukonen. Each profiled musician exhibits a different style but each carries direct ties (and owes a great debt) to the folk, blues and jazz guitar idioms. This film shows that, in the right hands, the versatility of the acoustic guitar knows few bounds.
