Based on the stories from the best selling book, 'The Girls Guide To hunting And Fishing', Brett Eisenberg (Sarah Michelle Gellar) is an ambitious young book editor living in the literary hotbed of Manhattan's Upper East Side. But though she tries her best to act the clued-up city girl, she just can't shake her suburban insecurities. When she meets publishing playboy Archie Knox (Alec Baldwin) she finally finds a gentleman eager to mentor her in and out of the bedroom. But although Archie appears to be the perfect ally in the book world as well as in bed, he also has baggage - ex-wives, a distant daughter, not to mention a very raunchy photo album of former girlfriends.
