Set in the fertile landscape of Ingmar Bergman's childhood, 'Sunday's Children' tells the story of young Pu (Henrik Linnros), a ten-year-old boy. It is the late 1920's, in the serene Swedish countryside, and Pu's big, gregarious family is enjoying a warm summer. When Pu spies his father, a chilly, overly correct preacher, fighting with his mother, a high spirited woman not content with the marginal existence of a minister's wife, this magical season is transformed into a strange, emotional time that will resonate through Pu's - and his father's - life.
