In addition to Warhol cohorts including Holly Woodlawn, Dennis Hopper, Gerard Malanga, Fran Lebowitz, Grace Jones, Ultra Violet and Viva, Superstar features commentary from such major art world figures as Henry Geldzahler, David Hockney and Roy Lichtenstein, as well as revealing interviews with Taylor Mead, Shelley Winters, Sally Kirkland, Bobby Short, Bob Colacello and Sylvia Miles. The popular music of three decades, as performed by Blondie, Bob Dylan, John Lennon, Kate Bush, Vanilla Fudge, Traffic Nico, Donna Summer, Pink Floyd and others pulses throughout.
