A contemporary comedy of bizarre situations, romantic entanglements, secret liaisons, mistaken identities and hilarious misunderstandings as Oscar winners Sally Field and Michael Caine prepare to 'Surrender'. She's a talented but unrecogised artist with scores of failed relationships behind her. He's a successful author, writer of best-selling mysteries, taken to the cleaners by two women in his past. They meet incognito at a fund raiser-stripped naked and tied together when a machine-gun wielding thieves force partygoers to hand over their valuables. Afterwards, she wants to forget the whole nightmare ever happened. But he is hopelessly smitten and ready to end his self-imposed abstinence from feminine company.
