The adventures of a man-turned-muck monster. 'Swamp Thing' was once a man named Alec Holland (Patrick Neil Quinn), but after being caught on fire, doused with strange chemicals, and dumped into the Louisiana swamps by the evil Dr. Anton Arcane (Mark Lindsay Chapman), Alec's body mutated. No longer is he human, or even an animal. His body is made from the muck and plants of the swamp. He's super strong and can make plants do his bidding. Good thing he's on our side...A recent storm in the swamp uncovers a car wreck from ten years ago,including the married couples ghosts that think only hours have passed...Sheriff Andrews (Marc Macaulay) allows Dr. Arcane to hunt an employee for sport. To teach Andrews a lesson, Alec traps him a fantasy of the old west populated by familiar faces, forcing him to duel the evil Renegade Jake in a fight to the death...When the swamp stalks Arcane in the form of a panther, an ecological message is the overtone about unsafe modes of power encroaching on nature and how she strikes back...Arcane's genius is about to be publicly lauded in an autobiographical film. But the actor playing him is found murdered in Arcane's trailer. Who was the murderer - and was Arcane the intended victim?... - Actors:
