- Synopsis:
Linda Michaels (Carrie Fisher) is a high powered attorney with an American Law firm based in Paris. She is a confident professional working on an important case which requires her to be in New York. Linda is a competitive lawyer who hates to lose - especially in this case. It's her own divorce. Linda is surprised in court when her husband, John (John Session) demands alimony. She's even more surprised when John's attorney and best friend, Frank (Francois Eric Gendron), produces a wilted birthday baloon with Linda's handwriting on it as grounds for spousal support. Not one to take defeat easily, Linda vows to alter the situation. Clinging to the condition imposed by the judge that if John remarries she will no longer be responsible for alimony, Linda plots to have John fall in love. - Actors:
