A lisping, lovable alley cat, Sylvester has been fighting a losing battle with his appetite and willpower ever since he first saw the seemingly helpless, innocent canary, Tweety. He's mischievous, a planner and overall good-natured. But he can neither overcome his desire to eat Tweety, nor catch the canary.
