- Taffin (Pierce Brosnan) is a man of many talents. Handsome and devil-may-care, he lives by his wits and is involved in small, dirty and sometimes violent business. But he suddenly finds himself betting big money when, despite local opposition, his town's corrupt council gives the go ahead for the construction of a giant chemical plant. Can one man take on a big business? With his stunning girlfriend, Charlotte (Allison Doody), Taffin sets out to do just that. Countering brawn with brain in a campaign of escalating violence, Taffin tracks down the ruthless financier behind the scheme for a confrontation from which there can only be one survivor.

Good movie - Taffin review by RH
I really enjoyed this film. It's pretty low budget and a bit hammy in places, but it's good fun and Brosnan is on top form.
