Tchaikovsky: The Classic Ballets (2012)

All of Tchaikovsky's ballets in one collection, performed by the Royal Ballet. In 'Swan Lake', Marianela Nuñez and Thiago Soares head the cast in this acclaimed production from March 2009. Russian conductor Valeriy Ovsyanikov leads the Orchestra of the Royal Opera House, while Anthony Dowell directs. 'Sleeping Beauty' is a 2006 production featuring Alina Cojocaru as Princess Aurora and Federico Bonelli as Prince Florimund. The orchestra is again conducted by Ovsyanikov. Finally, the 2012 production of 'The Nutcracker' stars Meaghan Grace Hinkis as Clara, Ricardo Cervera as the Nutcracker, Roberta Marquez as the Sugar Plum Fairy and Gary Avis as Drosselmeyer. The conductor is Koen Kessels.
