- Rukhsana, a well-known playback singer is re-united with her daughter Tehzeeb after 5 years. Tehzeeb has nursed a grudge against her mother since childhood following the death of her father, where her own mother was suspected of murder. Tehzeeb, an aspiring singer herself, marries novelist Salim Mirza against her mother's wishes. Nazneen, Tehzeeb's demanding younger sister, also craves for her mother's love and attention. Will Tehzeeb find out the truth about what really happened to her father and will all relations be saved?
