- When English professor Charlie Thurber (Luke Wilson) applies for a senior position at his college, he begins to dream of a promising career ahead. But his dreams are shattered when competition arrives in the form of an attractive, hot-shot teacher called Elaine. With nothing to lose, Charlie is persuaded to launch an off-the-wall stealth campaign to promote his cause and discredit the newcomer. At the centre of outrageous schoolboy pranks and downright dirty tricks, it soon seems like Charlie has the job in the bag. But when he develops feelings for Elaine, it threatens to throw the whole campaign off the rails...
