Rent Texhnolyze (2003 - 2003)

Texhnolyze is a Japanese anime series that takes place in the underground city of Lukuss, a distopian, subterranean metropolis ruled by gangs and violence. When the lives of three seeming unimportant and disconnected people begin to converge and a mysterious Yoshi from above ground appear it signals a fundamental change in the lives of the people of Lukuss. The Texhnolyze in the title refers to the technology developed to forcibly replace human body parts with cybernetics.
