The drama comedy 'The Time of Year' is about an event we can all relate to, namely Christmas Eve. The action takes place at home with Katrine (Paprika Steen) and Mads (Jacob Lohmann), who have two children and a lot of ambitions to keep a lovely companion with their loved ones. Even though this includes a motley group of family members. There is the sister who is a pastor, has a lighter stupid academy man and a couple. hyper-child. Then there are the divorced grandparents who can easily celebrate Christmas together - as long as they have to be choked and drink under the table. And lastly, there is the family's black sheep, the little sister who comes directly from rehab. But the traditions must be respected no matter what. There must be room for everyone.
