- Synopsis:
- Dr. James Gordon (William Lucas) has moved from London to the country, bringing his children - Vicky (Judi Bowker) and Kevin (Roderick Shaw) - with him. As the two children set to exploring the village of Five Oaks, they find an exhausted, wounded thoroughbred stallion; they take him home, and gradually bring him back to health. The kindly Dr. Gordon later takes a young urchin called Ned (Stephen Garlick) under his wing, and together the children share many adventures - with their beloved Black Beauty always around to help.
