The TV series "The Adventures of Monsieur Vidocq" was created based on the memoirs of Eugène Francois Vidocq and tells the adventures of the former prisoner. The series was filmed from 1971 to 1973 with Claude Brasseur in the title role under the original title "Les Nouvelles Aventures de Vidocq". The congenial music was written by the French pianist Jacques Loussier.
