A colossal success in its day, 'The Army Game' features the humorous shenanigans of a mismatched bunch of National Service conscripts assigned to the Surplus Ordnance Department at Nether Hopping. The series - which ran for 154 episodes over five years - features the talents of William Hartnell, Bill Fraser, Alfie Bass, Charles Hawtrey, Bernard Bresslaw and Dick Emery. After the first episode in June 1957, the show rapidly became a national phenomenon (spawning a spin-off series, movies and even a hit single!). This second volume contains the remainder of the surviving episodes that exist in the archive along with the Christmas Panto "Bootserella" from the 1960 variety show 'Chelsea at 9' and an episode of the 'Army Game' spin-off series - 'Bootsie and Snudge'.
