- In this reflective drama, a member of the Dutch resistance murders a Nazi collaborator during World War II's waning days and frames the neighbouring Steenwijk family for the killing - resulting in the execution of the entire family, save for one boy. Twelve-year-old Anton (Marc van Uchelen) is fortuitously spared, but the aftermath haunts him for decades.
