- Extraordinary crimes against the people and the state have to be avenged by agents extraordinary. Two such people are John Steed (Patrick Macnee), top professional, and his partner, Emma Peel (Diana Rigg), talented amateur. Otherwise known as, 'The Avengers'.

RENT THIS! - The Avengers: Series 4 review by CP Customer
This is by far the best release available due to excellent re-mastering.
Disc One also includes the episode of Armchair Theatre that brought Diana Rigg to the attention of the production team.
In addition a recorded telephone intervew with Elizabeth Sheperd who was cast as Emma Peel before Diana Rigg..............
