The battle of Naseby on the 14th of June 1645 all but decided the English Civil War. As the sun set King Charles I army had been comprehensively defeated, and although the King himself fought admirably his cause was not aided by Prince Rupert's infamous attack on a baggage train which meant the day was lost before he could return to the field. Superbly authentic battle reconstructions and atmospheric re-enactments provide an informative and entertaining view of a troubled time in English history.
