In the Lombardy of the seventeenth century, under Spanish rule, Renzo Tramaglino (Danny Quinn) and Lucia Mondella (Delphine Forest) love each other, despite the obstacles and the thousand abuses of the gentleman of the area, Don Rodrigo (Gary Cady), who, through the "bravo", imposes his will by force.
