After performing together for 60 years, in 2003 the renowned Gospel group 'The Blind Boys of Alabama' released their Grammy Award winning CD, "Go Tell It on the Mountain". In December, the band came to New York City to perform a special concert at the Beacon Theatre, with some of the guest artists from the album: Aaron Neville, Chrissie Hynde, Mavis Staples, Michael Franti, Robert Randolph, Duke Robillard, John Medeski and Charlie Musselwhite. In this inspiring footage 'The Blind Boy's prove once again (with a little help from their friends) that their music is wholly of the moment and yet timeless. From quiet beauty to foot-stomping fervor, this performance is filled with soul and passion. If this concert experience doesn't move you, you can't be moved.
