- Inspector Jaime is haunted by his own past which is dragged out of the shadows by the disappearance of a body from the morgue. On the case, Jaime must investigate how a corpse can vanish from its freezer and leave without a trace, the only witness being a guard left in a coma cause by indescribable fear. With his own nightmares driving him to despair, Jaime's only suspect is the dead body's widower, Alex, who maintains his innocence but struggles with inner demons that won't remain hidden. With a body on the loose and strange phenomena occurring, Jaime and Alex are intertwined in a horror that will leave you cold...

In the Hitchcock tradition - The Body review by LR
El Cuerpo (The Body) is a modern film noir. As we learn more about the characters, every one of them seems to have something to hide. We don't know who to believe. The film moves at a good pace and the story has many unexpected twists. In a way this is an old-fashioned thriller, like a Raymond Chandler story, which holds your attention with its tough characters, suspect motives and surprising plot twists.

CLEVER SCRIPT WITH INGENUOUS TWIST IN THE TALE - The Body review by GF
This smart thriller is an intricate tale of murder and deception, but what marks it out, is the last ten minutes, where the film is turned on it head a la The usual Suspects. Will say no more -watch it for yourself - you won't be disappointed...

Enjoyed this thriller. Storyline very good, told at a steady pace, with twists and turns along the way. A good twist at the end. Would highly recommend
