The Bold, the Corrupt and the Beautiful (2017)

Taiwanese drama written and directed by Ya-che Yang. Wealthy antiques dealer and widow Madame Tang (Kara Wai) uses discrete tactics of coercion to influence local politics for the benefit of her family, consisting of two daughters, middle aged Ning (Ke-Xi Wu) and teenager Chen (Vicky Chen). However, when a prominent business family are murdered Tang finds herself struggling to maintain her composure as extra scrutiny is placed on her previous business dealings. Meanwhile, her daughters Ning and Chen seek to carve out their own identities and rebel against the stringent rule of their mother.
